Incheon Airport Corporation Holds Safety Communication Meeting with Subsidiaries
[Asia Economy Reporter Yoo Hyun-seok] Incheon International Airport Corporation announced on the afternoon of the 22nd that it held the '2022 1st Quarter Incheon Airport Safety Stakeholders Communication Meeting' with the safety groups of three Incheon Airport subsidiaries at the airport terminal auditorium.
Complying with COVID-19 prevention guidelines, about 30 participants attended the meeting, including representatives from the Safety Innovation Department of Incheon International Airport Corporation, the safety and health groups of subsidiaries, and outstanding business sites.
The Incheon Airport Safety Stakeholders Communication Meeting serves as a communication channel in the field of industrial safety and health between the corporation and its subsidiaries. It has been held quarterly since 2019 to regularly share safety information and to improve risk factors and resolve difficulties at subsidiary work sites.
Notably, as a result of close communication efforts between the corporation and subsidiaries over several years, Incheon Airport has achieved 'Zero Major Accidents' for three consecutive years. This meeting proceeded in the order of ▲2021 Safety and Health Outstanding Business Site and Meritorious Employee Awards ▲Sharing of 2022 Safety and Health Activity Plans of the corporation and subsidiaries ▲Discussion on Incheon Airport safety enhancement measures and necessary improvements, providing attendees with time to exchange various opinions related to on-site safety.
Lee Kyung-yong, Head of Safety and Security Headquarters at Incheon International Airport Corporation, stated, “The corporation plans to further strengthen the mutual cooperation system with subsidiaries and do its best to prevent safety accidents at work sites within Incheon Airport.”
