The 262nd Geochang County Council Extraordinary Session ... First Supplementary Budget of the Year, Review of Ordinance and General Proposals

The agenda for this extraordinary session includes the appointment of auditors for the 2021 fiscal year settlement, the 2022 first supplementary budget proposal, the 2022 first fund operation plan amendment, and the review of ordinances and general proposals.
At the first plenary session held on the 22nd, following the opening remarks, there were 5-minute free speeches, appointment of auditors for the 2021 fiscal year settlement, presentation of the supplementary budget proposal by County Governor Gu In-mo, an overview explanation of the budget by the Planning and Budget Officer, and the appointment of the Budget and Settlement Special Committee.
During the 5-minute free speeches following the opening, two council members, Shim Jae-su and Kim Hyang-ran, took the floor as presenters.
Council member Shim Jae-su urged the relocation of the Geochang Police Station under the theme "Urging county-level efforts for the relocation of Geochang Police Station," calling for resolving parking difficulties around the county office and balanced development of Geochang-eup through the relocation of the police station.
Council member Kim Hyang-ran spoke on the topic "For fairness in water and sewage installation user charges," advocating for abolishing the facility charge imposed under the current water supply ordinance when installing water supply facilities and integrating it into the polluter pays ordinance to prevent double charges.
