On the same day, during a conversation with Woo on his TBS radio show "Kim Eo-jun's News Factory" about Democratic Party members running for Seoul mayor, Kim asked, "What roles do Advisor Lee Jae-myung and former leader Lee Nak-yeon have?" Woo responded, "I think it is impossible for someone who just ran as a presidential candidate to immediately run for Seoul mayor."
Kim asked, "Is there such talk within the party?" and Woo replied again, "No," adding, "This is the first time I have heard about Advisor Lee running for Seoul mayor."
He continued, "No matter how few candidates there are, asking someone who was a recent presidential candidate to run for Seoul mayor makes no sense. It is nonsense," and pointed out, "Is winning the only goal? It is not."

Kim responded, "I am not saying Advisor Lee must run for Seoul mayor; what I mean is what roles Advisor Lee and former leader Lee Nak-yeon will play in the local elections," emphasizing, "In terms of timing, they should move to Seoul by this week."
Hearing this, Woo said, "Former leader Lee's home is originally in Jongno. Maybe you keep thinking about Advisor Lee," adding, "Anyway, the issue of who will run for Seoul mayor or Gyeonggi governor is still in an immature stage of discussion within the party."
Meanwhile, Woo, who served as the Democratic Party's general election campaign director in the last presidential election, declared he would give up his long-prepared bid for Seoul mayor to take responsibility for the election defeat.
