20s Male Arrested for Crashing into University Main Gate While Intoxicated
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Park Jin-hyung] A man in his 20s caused a single-vehicle accident while driving under the influence in front of the main gate road of a university in Gwangju Metropolitan City.
On the 21st, the Gwangju Northern Police Station announced that they have detained and are investigating a man in his 20s, Mr. A, on charges of violating the Road Traffic Act.
Mr. A is suspected of driving under the influence around 10:30 PM the previous day and consecutively crashing into the curb and a stone flower bed in front of the main gate of Chonnam National University.
At the time, his blood alcohol concentration was found to be at the license cancellation level.
