Gyeongbuk Provincial Council is delivering consolation money for wildfire damage.

The donation was delivered to the Gyeongbuk Community Chest of Korea and is planned to be used for emergency relief and damage recovery for residents affected by the wildfire.
On the day, former Vice Chairman of the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council Bang Yu-bong and Nam Yong-dae, Chairman of the Rural Youth Hope Special Committee, represented the Gyeongbuk Provincial Council and met with Jeon Chan-geol, the mayor of Uljin County Office, to deliver the donation.
The delegation expressed gratitude to the special firefighting teams, firefighters, and volunteers who participated in wildfire suppression and support for disaster victims.
Former Vice Chairman Bang Yu-bong requested, “Please pay close attention to the health management of disaster victims as there are concerns about COVID-19 infections at temporary evacuation sites,” and Chairman Nam Yong-dae said, “We will do our best to help disaster victims who suddenly lost their homes due to the fire return to their daily lives quickly.”
