According to Jeonnam Fire on the 17th, a woman in her 70s, Ms. A, went missing around 3 p.m. on the 14th in Hoecheon-myeon, Boseong-gun.
Ms. A is known to have lost contact while visiting her younger sibling's house.
The search has entered its third day, and search and rescue in mountainous areas is challenging due to many valleys and forest terrains that are difficult to visually inspect and access, as well as the wide search radius.
Accordingly, Jeonnam Fire is using drones to search extensive valley and mountainous areas and is sharing information with the Jeonnam Police.
