Safety Training and Emergency Medical Support at Broadcasting Production Sites
Safety Inspections Including Set Installation and Dismantling
The Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism and the Korea Drama Production Association will provide safety training and emergency medical support starting from the 15th to prevent accidents on broadcasting production sites. Eligible production companies can receive support from emergency medical technicians and emergency vehicles at filming locations where there is a risk of accidents such as explosions, falls, fires, and collapses. Last year, fifty production companies benefited from emergency treatment, hospital transfers, and COVID-19 prevention measures. This year, the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism will also offer related specialized training. Safety inspections will be supported during set installation and dismantling to raise safety awareness among related workers and prevent accidents. For more details on how to apply for support, please refer to the Korea Drama Production Association website.
