Hana Financial Investment Launches New Concept Real Estate Investment 'REITs Lab'
[Asia Economy Reporter Junho Hwang] Hana Financial Investment launched the 'REITs (Publicly Listed REITs) Wrap,' which combines the advantages of real estate and stocks, on the 15th.
The REITs Wrap invests in REITs listed on major domestic and international exchanges, as well as stocks or exchange-traded funds (ETFs) related to real estate intermediaries such as infrastructure and developers. It offers a good investment alternative in financial markets with high uncertainty due to domestic and international issues, while also providing services related to gifting, such as gift tax filing services.
REITs are products that allow equity investment in large-scale real estate generating rental income. They can be traded like stocks, making cash liquidity easy to secure, and offer various tax benefits compared to directly trading real estate.
Han Sang-young, Head of Client Asset Management at Hana Financial Investment, explained, "This is a time when proactive investment responses are necessary due to the highly turbulent financial markets caused by COVID-19 and the Eastern European conflict."
The REITs Wrap can be subscribed to starting from 20 million KRW, with additional deposits allowed from 5 million KRW.

Partial withdrawals are possible for amounts exceeding the minimum subscription limit. Fees include a 1.0% upfront fee and a 1.0% annual deferred fee. The wrap account is an investment discretionary contract managed and operated per client account, and past returns do not guarantee future returns; principal loss may occur depending on management results.
