Geochang-gun Promotes Support for New LPG 1t Truck Purchase
From March 14, 2 Million Won Discount on New Car Purchases
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Choi Soon-kyung] Geochang-gun, Gyeongnam Province, will conduct a support project for the purchase of new LPG 1-ton cargo trucks from the 14th to the 23rd to improve air quality by reducing fine dust.
This year, the support target quantity is 56 vehicles with a total project cost of 112 million KRW. If a diesel vehicle is scrapped and an 'LPG 1-ton cargo truck' is purchased, 2 million KRW will be supported.
The support condition is for vehicle owners or institutions who scrap diesel vehicles registered in Geochang-gun (excluding export cancellation) and purchase a new LPG 1-ton cargo truck.
An LPG 1-ton cargo truck refers to a small cargo vehicle with a maximum load capacity of 1 ton or less and a total weight of 3.5 tons or less that uses LPG as fuel. Priority support is given when scrapping diesel vehicles that meet the early scrapping criteria.
Applications can be submitted by visiting the County Office Environmental Division or by registered mail.
