Yeosu City Officials Deliver Donations to Support Wildfire Victims in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon Provinces
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Yoon Jamin] Public officials affiliated with Yeosu City Hall in Jeonnam donated 10 million won in relief funds to the Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea to help victims of wildfires in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon provinces.
The donation ceremony was attended by Roh Dong-il, Chairman of Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, Kwon Oh-bong, Mayor of Yeosu, and related officials.
The donated funds were voluntarily raised by 1,422 Yeosu City Hall public officials and will be used to support victims affected by the wildfires in Gyeongbuk and Gangwon.
Roh Dong-il, Chairman of Jeonnam Community Chest of Korea, said, “Thank you for participating in this meaningful sharing together. We will do our best to support the recovery of daily life for the wildfire victims.”
