LH, Residential Life Service Operation System Reorganization "Resident-Centered"
4 Categories: Basic Living, Daily Convenience, Demand Customization, Housing Management with 24 Services
Activation of High-Quality and Satisfactory Small Libraries, Strengthening Mental Health Services
Introduction and Operation of New Projects such as Rapid Home Care Mobile Service and Happy Mom Center
[Asia Economy Reporter Kangwook Cho] Korea Land and Housing Corporation (LH) announced on the 14th that, as part of its 'Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) management,' it plans to provide enhanced resident-centered housing life services starting this year.
LH's housing life services are various services proactively identified and continuously provided by LH to improve the quality of life and welfare of tenants in rental housing. Representative services include small libraries, care services, and mental health services.
LH changed its housing life service system from the previous 5 categories and 21 items to 4 categories and 24 items. The services are divided into △ Basic Life Services △ Convenience Services △ Customized Demand Services △ Housing Management Services. This change aims to focus and strengthen representative services while supplementing or reducing services with insufficient effectiveness. In particular, services that residents can directly feel will be expanded. Based on resident demand and housing life service quality evaluation results, LH plans to select key services to promote and further strengthen and operate them.
For example, the 'Small Library Activation' service, which has shown very high resident support effects, will promote activation projects in 250 complexes nationwide this year. This service transforms underutilized existing libraries within complexes into resident-centered, life-close complex cultural spaces and operates support centers that provide comprehensive consulting from library opening to operation.
Additionally, LH plans to further expand customized services to promote mental health this year, establishing a more detailed housing life safety net by supporting hospitalization costs for residents who find it difficult to receive treatment. This service actively identifies residents needing psychological and mental support, provides counseling and treatment through specialized institutions, and helps them maintain stable community life by linking with various welfare services.
Furthermore, new services such as △ LH Rapid Homecare Mobile Service △ LH Happy Mom Center △ New project contests for Housing Happiness Support Center staff will be introduced. The 'LH Rapid Homecare Mobile Service,' a pilot project to be launched in June in collaboration with local self-sufficiency organizations, is a service that visits residences to resolve minor issues such as light bulb replacement. The 'LH Happy Mom Center' is a childcare, child, and education complex community platform. It groups 2 to 3 complexes into one zone where residents autonomously operate care spaces and other facilities. LH plans to hold a project contest in June for the pilot project of the LH Happy Mom Center. Also, to solve problems arising in housing management and discover various life services, an idea contest will be held for Happiness Center staff.
LH aims to make this year the first year of innovation in housing life services by continuously expanding services to revitalize resident communities, strengthening capabilities through building internal and external cooperation systems, institutional improvements, and securing funding to ensure service sustainability. Existing life services such as car-sharing, care services for vulnerable groups, job counseling, and various welfare linkages will also continue.
