BGF Retail Partners to Launch 'CU Yeonghana Plus Check Card'
[Asia Economy Reporter Minwoo Lee] Hana Bank has partnered with convenience store CU to launch a check card targeting teenage users.
Hana Bank announced on the 14th that it has released the 'CU Young Hana Plus Check Card' in collaboration with CU operator BGF Retail.
This card is designed for the 'Generation Z' aged 17 to 20 who frequently use convenience stores. It offers cashback benefits when used at convenience stores (5%), delivery apps (5%), public transportation (10%), and coffee shops (20%).
To celebrate the launch, a promotional event is being held. Until June 30, customers who simultaneously open a 'Young Hana Plus Account' and issue a 'CU Young Hana Plus Check Card' will receive three mobile gift certificates for cup noodles. Additionally, until the end of this year, payments made with this card at CU convenience stores will receive a permanent 50% discount on triangular kimbap and cup noodles. The discount is limited to once per day, with a maximum discount of 1,000 KRW.
