Police Classify and Share Practical Materials by Level... Used for Training New Investigators
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] The police have decided to classify practical investigation training materials by type and level and share them with each provincial police agency so that they can be used for training new investigators.
According to the police on the 13th, the National Police Agency plans to select practical investigation training materials produced and published independently by each local office nationwide, classify them by type and level for practical use in the field, and share them. This measure stems from the judgment that providing systematic training materials is necessary, as each office is conducting its own investigation training due to the pilot operation of integrated investigation teams and the transfer of new investigators.
The police plan to select investigation training materials posted on Polnet Knowledge Plaza, KICS (Criminal Justice Information System), or collected from provincial police agencies, and classify them by type according to their content. The types are divided into ▲investigation document preparation methods ▲investigation cases ▲investigation procedures ▲investigation techniques ▲checklists. The police will then separately indicate whether the material is recommended for new investigators based on the level, to be used in training new investigators.
