On the 11th, Ascendio announced, "'The Killer: A Girl Who Can Die' has been sold to 23 countries, including 8 European countries such as Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, and Switzerland, as well as 15 Asian countries including Japan, Taiwan, Singapore, and Vietnam, ahead of its domestic release in June."
The film is based on the popular original novel 'A Girl Who Can Die' by writer Bang Jin-ho. It depicts the story of a retired killer who suddenly becomes involved in an incident while protecting a high school girl he has taken under his care.
Jang Hyuk and director Choi Jae-hoon, who directed the film 'The Swordsman,' collaborate once again. In the film, Jang Hyuk plays Euigang, a retired killer who appears dry on the outside but harbors a passionate heart inside.
