Honam University Department of Tourism Management Opens 'Smart Tourism School'
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Honam University’s Department of Tourism Management announced on the 11th that it has opened the ‘Smart Tourism School’ at the cultural event practice room.
The ‘Smart Tourism School’ is a representative extracurricular program of the Gwangju-Jeonnam Regional Innovation Platform Project’s autonomous task, the Big Data-Based Smart Tourism Platform Human Resource Development Project (led by Professor Jeong Eun-seong). It consists of five courses designed to strengthen practical skills related to tourism big data analysis and tourism platform development in response to the increasing demand for smart tourism.
Targeting students of the Department of Tourism Management, the ‘Smart Tourism School’ invited Bae In-ae, CEO of ADM Education Research Institute, to conduct courses over a total of 35 hours until the 25th, starting with tourism platform and tourism trend analysis, followed by SNS marketing and the utilization of the metaverse.
