Seoul Bukchon Cultural Center to Host March Bukchon Culture Day... Theme: 'Bukchon's First Spring, New Meaning'
Providing In-Person and Online Programs to Set Annual Goals and Strengthen Mindset
[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Cheol-young] The Bukchon Cultural Center in Seoul announced on the 11th that it will operate the March Saturday regular event, Bukchon Culture Day, featuring exhibitions, experiences, and guided tours under the theme "Bukchon's First Spring, New Meaning - Ilnyeonjigye Jaeuchun (一年之計在于春)."
The March Bukchon Culture Day will showcase a pen drawing exhibition titled "Bukchon Maengchun (孟春)" capturing the early spring of Bukchon, along with on-site programs such as "Writing New Year's Resolutions" and "Writing Postcards." It will also offer various face-to-face and non-face-to-face programs including "Making Traditional Bookbinding Planner Notebooks" and "Creating Watercolor Calligraphy Art" experience kits sent by mail.
Additionally, the Bukchon Cultural Center's guided tour program will resume operations after a winter break. Visitors can experience small-group face-to-face programs by prior reservation, such as "Let's Play Hanok!," "Finding the Lady of Gye-dong and Treasures," and "Morning of Hanok," where resident guides explain the structure and functions of hanok and stories about the Bukchon Cultural Center.

The non-face-to-face and guided tour programs can be applied for through the Seoul Hanok Portal website or the Bukchon Cultural Center's SNS, and 30 participants for each program will be randomly selected to receive mailed materials.
