KB Insurance "KB Geumjjokgateun Child Insurance, Sales Increase 1.7 Times in First Month After Launch"
[Asia Economy Reporter Changhwan Lee] KB Insurance announced on the 10th that its new child insurance product, ‘KB Geumjjok Gateun Child Insurance,’ has been gaining popularity, with customer subscriptions increasing more than 1.7 times compared to last year’s monthly average since its launch on the 1st of last month.
Since its launch, ‘KB Geumjjok Gateun Child Insurance’ has recorded over 17,000 subscriptions (sales of 1.35 billion KRW) in one month, showing a significant increase compared to last year’s monthly average of about 10,000 subscriptions (sales of 800 million KRW) for child insurance.
‘KB Geumjjok Gateun Child Insurance’ is the first in the industry to include the ‘Growth Period Autism Diagnosis Benefit,’ which covers childhood autism that is not covered even by indemnity medical insurance.
It also newly includes the ‘Growth Period Specific Behavioral Development Disorder Diagnosis Benefit,’ which covers speech and language-specific developmental disorders, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), and chronic tic disorder, which have been increasing recently due to environmental factors.
Since 2021, KB Insurance has selected child insurance as a strategic product and has continuously focused its capabilities on strengthening competitiveness to meet customer needs.
