Gyeonggi-do to Discover Shared Companies and Provide Up to 30 Million KRW Support
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Gyeonggi Province is set to discover promising sharing economy companies with high growth potential.
Gyeonggi Province announced on the 10th that it will conduct the '2022 Sharing Economy Company Discovery and Nurturing Project,' targeting companies, organizations, or prospective entrepreneurs engaged in sharing economy businesses that enhance residents' convenience and create social, economic, and environmental value by sharing resources such as space, goods, talents, and experiences. Applications will be accepted until the 21st.
The province plans to select around 10 companies and provide project funding ranging from 20 million to 30 million KRW per company.
Selected companies will receive support to establish themselves early through investment attraction practical training by private professional accelerators (startup growth support companies), demo days (startup promotional events), investment consultation meetings, and other investment attraction programs. Outstanding companies will also receive follow-up support for sustainable growth.
