Sampyo Cement Donates 200 Million KRW to Support Wildfire Damage Recovery in Samcheok City

[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Jong-hwa] Sampyo Cement has joined efforts to restore damage and support disaster victims caused by wildfires in the Donghae coastal areas, including Samcheok City, Gangwon Province.
Sampyo Cement, located in Samcheok City, announced that on the 8th, CEO Lee Jong-seok visited Samcheok City and donated 200 million KRW to Mayor Kim Yang-ho. On the 5th, they also provided bottled water, bread, and snacks. The donated funds will be used for restoration activities in the wildfire-affected areas and support for disaster victims.
CEO Lee said, "We hope to be of some help to Samcheok City and local residents who are struggling due to the wildfire damage," adding, "We will closely cooperate with Samcheok City for prompt recovery efforts."

Sampyo Cement also provided relief funds and supplies during the 2019 Gangwon wildfires and supported building materials necessary for repairing buildings in the affected areas.
