Yeosu City Supports Women's Employment with 'Career Connection Voucher'
Voucher Card Support of 200,000 Won... Apply at Your Local Eup, Myeon, or Dong Office by April 29
[Yeosu=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] Jeonnam Yeosu City is accepting applications for the ‘Career Continuation Voucher Support Project’ until April 29, urging many career-interrupted women to participate.
The ‘Career Continuation Voucher Support Project’ is a program that supports job-seeking activities for women who face difficulties in resuming employment due to career interruptions such as childbirth and childcare.
It provides a voucher card worth 200,000 KRW once in a lifetime, which can be used for purchasing books for job preparation, paying tuition fees for employment courses, interview preparation costs, and more.
Eligible applicants are career-interrupted women aged between 35 and 54 who have registered as job seekers at employment support institutions (such as the Women New Work Center and Employment Welfare Plus Center).
Applicants must have had a residence in Jeollanam-do for more than one year as of the application date, and their health insurance premium for the previous month must be at or below 150% of the median income.
Those interested must apply at their local town or township office by April 29, and after selection, they can receive the card at the designated NongHyup Bank.
A representative from the Yeosu City Women and Family Division said, “We hope many career-interrupted women who wish to find employment will apply,” and added, “We will continue to make efforts to expand women’s participation in society.”
