Roles Include Gathering Opinions on Youth Policy Budgeting and Promoting Resident Participation Budget System
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Kim Yukbong] Buk-gu, Gwangju City announced on the 8th that it is recruiting members for the 2nd Youth Committee of the Resident Participatory Budget until the 21st.
The Youth Committee of the Resident Participatory Budget is operated to reflect opinions when budgeting related to youth.
The recruitment target is youth aged 9 to 24 as of the announcement date, who reside in Buk-gu or are students enrolled in elementary or secondary education under the Education Act in the district, or have equivalent qualifications.
During the one-year term, committee members will participate in the online youth budget school, collect opinions related to budgeting, propose projects related to youth policies, and engage in promotional activities for the Resident Participatory Budget system.
District Chief Moon said, "Communication with youth is important for nurturing future talents and developing district administration," and added, "We hope many youths interested in participating in district administration will apply."
