LG Uplus, Online Lecture Solution 'U+ Live Class'
[Asia Economy Reporter Cha Min-young] LG Uplus announced on the 8th that 80% of YBM Live lecture attendees are taking classes through U+ Live Class.
U+ Live Class is LG Uplus's real-time online lecture solution equipped with features specialized for education, first introduced last August through the live lecture brand 'YBM Bullabang' of the foreign language education specialist YBM Edu.
LG Uplus explained that efforts to innovate customer experience have led to positive results. Major improvements include ▲ simultaneous streaming of two or more lectures on one PC ▲ simultaneous upload/download of multiple lecture videos ▲ attendance rate display function for each lecture.
With the addition of the simultaneous streaming feature, the inconvenience of having to individually control the streaming of two or more broadcasts on one PC and errors caused by traffic overload have been resolved. Furthermore, the inconvenience of having to upload/download each lecture video file individually has also been eliminated.
Regarding the video and audio quality of U+ Live Class, 96% of attendees responded that they are satisfied, and the real-time chat function also showed a high satisfaction rate of over 95%. Additionally, 96% of attendees expressed their intention to retake Bullabang lectures.
LG Uplus plans to expand the educational scope of U+ Live Class beyond foreign language learning to include civil service and certification exams, and to diversify pricing plans according to various customer usage scenarios.
