Ulju-gun Temporarily Resumes Operation of 'Open Mayor's Office' from March 10 to April 1
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Dongguk Lee] Ulsan City Ulju-gun announced that the 'Open County Mayor's Office,' where the county mayor directly responds to civil complaints, will be temporarily resumed from March 10 to April 1.
The reason for the temporary resumption only from March 10 to April 1 is that the 8th nationwide local elections will be held on June 1, and according to 'Article 86 of the Public Official Election Act,' local government heads are again restricted from directly handling civil complaints from 60 days before the election day.
During the temporary resumption period of the Open County Mayor's Office from March 10 to April 1, the county mayor plans to directly consult on visiting civil complaints on Wednesdays and Fridays (10:00~12:00).
