The Mental Health Welfare Center of Gijang-gun Public Health Center and Jeonggwan-eup 'LH5 Complex Apartment' are taking a commemorative photo after signing a business agreement.
View original image[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Hwang Du-yeol] The Mental Health Welfare Center of Gijang-gun Public Health Center signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the LH5 Complex Apartments in Jeonggwan-eup and its residents to promote mental health and prevent suicide.
Through this agreement, the Mental Health Welfare Center of Gijang-gun Public Health Center will conduct a comprehensive mental health survey for residents of the LH5 Complex Apartments in Jeonggwan-eup.
Since face-to-face counseling is difficult due to COVID-19, they plan to actively provide counseling services using non-face-to-face methods.
Since 2018, Gijang-gun Public Health Center has been operating the Mental Health Welfare Center in consignment with Haeundae Paik Hospital.
They are also promoting various health promotion projects such as severe case management for the welfare of mental illness patients and counseling, campaigns, and education to prevent mental health problems among residents.
The Public Health Center actively promoted the "Carbon Monoxide Poisoning Suicide Prevention Project" to foster a culture of respect for life and prevent suicide within the jurisdiction, receiving the Minister of Health and Welfare Award and being selected as an excellent institution in 2020.
