Goheung-gun, Recruiting Companies to Participate in the Small and Medium Business Technology Doctor Project
Field-Specific Expert Matching for On-Site Customized Support
[Goheung=Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Shim Jeong-woo] Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do announced that it is recruiting companies wishing to participate in the '2022 Small and Medium Enterprise Technology Doctor Support Project' to support securing self-sustainability and strengthening competitiveness of small and medium enterprises in the region.
The Technology Doctor Support Project is a program that provides on-site customized support through 1:1 matching with experts in each field for manufacturing SMEs experiencing various technical and managerial difficulties that are difficult to solve on their own, such as product development and process improvement.
When newly introduced in 2021, it received great responses from local companies, and this year, among the 10 companies that participated last year, 5 were selected to establish an advanced course aimed at producing concrete results along with in-depth and detailed consulting support.
The support program consists of establishing marketing strategies suitable for various customer groups and trends, technical and managerial diagnosis for improving productivity and efficiency, customized certification acquisition such as social enterprises, strong small businesses, HACCP, and other R&D and business expansion. Professional consultants in each field visit the site directly more than three times to conduct consulting.
An official from the county stated, "Through this project, it is expected to play a role like rain in a drought for local SMEs that find it difficult to respond promptly to various on-site problems due to lack of funds and manpower as COVID-19 continues long-term," and added, "We will actively discover and promote on-site close support projects to strengthen the competitiveness of companies in the future."
