Electric Safety Corporation Conducts Special Electrical Safety Inspection
[Asia Economy Sejong=Reporter Kwon Haeyoung] The Korea Electrical Safety Corporation announced on the 7th that it will conduct special electrical safety inspections throughout March targeting approximately 35,000 multi-use facilities nationwide, including traditional markets, welfare facilities, and lodging facilities, to prevent safety accidents during the thawing season.
This is aimed at focusing on issues revealed in previous joint government inspections, such as excessive capacity of leakage circuit breakers and ungrounded outlets.
Additionally, in preparation for the presidential election on the 9th, safety inspections will be conducted at a total of 18,267 early voting stations, main polling stations, and counting centers nationwide, and on-site personnel will be dispatched to counting centers on the day to prepare for emergency situations.
