SR Conducts Special Safety Inspections Until the 18th for Spring Thaw Season
Preemptive Management Measures Including Preliminary Inspection of Vulnerable Facilities and Prevention of Human Errors
SR is conducting a special safety inspection in response to the spring thaw season.
View original image[Asia Economy Reporter Jo Gang-wook] SR, the operator of SRT, has launched a spring safety management plan to prevent various facility malfunctions and human errors during the thawing season in March.
According to the industry on the 5th, SR has designated the period from the 4th to the 18th as a special inspection period for the thawing season and is conducting joint safety inspections at the headquarters by visiting vulnerable sites such as Suseo, Dongtan, and Pyeongtaek Jije stations, which are exclusive to SRT, as well as vehicle centers.
They plan to identify and pre-inspect major accident risk factors that may occur in SRT vehicles and vulnerable facilities during the thawing season, and secure absolute customer safety through safety accident prevention activities such as human error prevention education.
In this safety management plan, SR will focus on △ intensive inspection of cracks and ground subsidence/deformation in station facilities △ maintenance of customer-use facilities such as escalators and restrooms △ special education for crew accident prevention and strengthening of supervisory crew △ emergency response training for train door malfunctions.
