Exchange Selects 14 Companies Including Taekwang and SPG as Outstanding KOSDAQ Disclosure Corporations
[Asia Economy Reporter Minji Lee] Korea Exchange announced on the 4th that it has selected 14 companies, including Taekwang, as the ‘2021 KOSDAQ Market Disclosure Excellence Corporations.’
In the category of long-term faithful disclosure excellence, Taekwang and SPG were selected. These two companies carried out faithful disclosures over a long period without any dishonest disclosures. Pearl Abyss and Eugene Tech were selected as excellent corporations for IR activities. Considering the number of IR events held, target audience, and methods of holding, two corporations with outstanding IR activity performance were chosen.
As comprehensive excellence corporations, Classys, Vatech, Nasmedia, Webzen, CHA Biotech, PanGen, Duksan Neolux, Neowiz, Hyundai Ezwel, and Humedix were selected, totaling 10 companies. These companies ranked high in a comprehensive evaluation including disclosure accuracy, timeliness, appropriateness, efforts to provide disclosures with high investment utilization, and the establishment of disclosure work infrastructure.
Incentives such as exemption from designation as dishonest disclosure corporations for three years after selection, exemption from mandatory education, and reward payments will be provided to disclosure excellence corporations and outstanding disclosure personnel.
