Samsung C&T Cotello Opens Pop-up Store in Seochon, Seoul
[Asia Economy Reporter Eunmo Koo] Samsung C&T Fashion Division's daily wear brand Kotelo announced on the 3rd that it has opened a '2022 Spring Season Pop-up Store' in Seochon, Jongno-gu, Seoul.
Samsung C&T launched the high cost-performance daily wear brand Kotelo in October last year. Kotelo quickly established itself in the market as word of mouth spread among customers in their 20s and 30s due to its versatile design, comfortable fit, and good quality products. The wing collar knit pullover, a representative product from last season, was reordered three times and sold over 1,000 units. Additionally, cumulative sales until February this year reached 150% of the target sales.
Kotelo mainly operates through online channels such as SSF Shop while running offline pop-up stores in commercial areas popular among women in their 20s and 30s. Last year, pop-up stores were held at Beaker Hannam, Cafe Conhas Hannam and Yeonhui, and The Hyundai Seoul.
Kotelo is operating a pop-up store featuring this spring's new products in Seochon, Jongno-gu until the 8th. This spring, Kotelo launched a collection consisting of clothing that can be worn comfortably and stylishly in everyday life. It is characterized by the use of bright and warm colors such as yellow and lavender, based on a soft feminine sensibility.
