[Asia Economy Reporter Koo Eun-mo] McDonald's announced on the 3rd that it will hold a 'Crew Recruitment Week' event for about a week starting from the 7th. Through this Crew Recruitment Week event, McDonald's plans to hire a total of 2,400 new crew members (store employees).
Becoming a McDonald's crew member offers various opportunities ranging from obtaining degrees to self-development, providing a stepping stone for growth in the food service industry. McDonald's supports tuition fees through industry-academic cooperation with four cyber universities.
Crew members who demonstrate excellent work performance, teamwork, and leadership are given the opportunity to be hired as full-time managers. Additionally, McDonald's crew members can purchase over 1,500 products at an average discount of 46% compared to consumer prices through an exclusive employee online mall.
There is also the 'Nachinso (Introducing My Friend)' program, which allows close friends to join McDonald's crew together. The Nachinso program is a friend referral system that rewards current crew members who recommend their friends.
