[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gimcheon City, Gyeongbuk, signed a consignment agreement with the Daegu-Gyeongbuk Regional Headquarters of the Korea Land and Housing Corporation to improve the housing environment of basic housing benefit households through the repair and maintenance benefit project.
The repair and maintenance benefit project will support a total of 105 households owning their own homes among basic housing benefit recipients this year, with a project budget of 700 million KRW.
The support includes minor repairs (wallpapering and flooring), moderate repairs (windows and insulation), and major repairs (roof, bathroom, kitchen) depending on the aging level of the house.
For basic housing benefit recipients who rent rather than own their homes, rental fees of up to 254,000 KRW for a household of four are supported, and applications can be submitted year-round at the administrative welfare centers in their respective towns and townships.
