Kim Jong-nam Selected as March 5·18 Democratic Merit Recipient

During the democratization movement in May 1980, Kim worked as a cargo truck assistant driver and joined the citizen army.
He drove a promotional vehicle to inform people of the situation daily and was active as a Mobile Strike Team member before being arrested, classified as a ringleader, and subjected to severe beatings and torture.
