Suwon City Expands to 65 Municipal Daycare Centers
[Asia Economy (Suwon) = Reporter Lee Young-gyu] Suwon City in Gyeonggi Province is increasing the number of municipal daycare centers to 65.
On the 2nd, Suwon City announced the opening of 'Municipal Haneulchae The First 1 Daycare Center' in the first complex and 'Municipal Haneulchae The First 2 Daycare Center' in the second complex of Suwon Haneulchae The First in Gokbanjeong-dong. Accordingly, the total number of municipal daycare centers in Suwon has increased to 65.
The daycare centers will be operated under a consignment system for five years until January 2027. They are available for children aged 0 to 5 years.
Suwon City plans to continue expanding public childcare in line with the government's policy by opening eight additional municipal daycare centers this year.
