[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Seven Eleven announced on the 2nd that its store photo contest 'Seven Moment' is gaining great popularity. Seven Moment is a social networking service (SNS) emotional empathy project that captures and shares beautiful moments of nearby convenience stores in our daily lives, with the theme of store landscapes embracing the four seasons.
The theme of this contest was winter, with 1,000 entries and over 20,000 likes. The first prize went to Jinju Renaissance Store, which received high praise for its harmonious blend of traditional Korean beauty and winter scenery. The second prize was awarded to six stores including Gonjiam Resort Store, Masan Jeodo Yeonyukgyo Store, Saneung Station Cafe Store, Cheongju Gaesin World Store, Ulsan Jeongja Beach Store, and Pyeongchang New Jungri Store, noted for their white snow and tranquil night views.
The selection criteria focused on the expression of winter emotions, aesthetics, and harmony with the surrounding scenery. The first round involved internal employee voting, and the second round was judged by external photography experts. Seven Moment is held regularly every season. The 2022 spring edition is scheduled for next month.
