NATO to Hold Emergency Foreign Ministers Meeting This Week... Discussing Ukraine Situation
[Asia Economy New York=Special Correspondent Joselgina] The North Atlantic Treaty Organization (NATO) will hold an emergency meeting this week with foreign ministers of member countries regarding Russia's invasion of Ukraine.
According to CNN, NATO announced in a statement on the 1st (local time) that the emergency meeting will be held on the 4th at NATO headquarters in Brussels, Belgium. The meeting will be chaired by Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg. NATO allies have been strengthening their forces in Eastern Europe following Russia's recent invasion of Ukraine.
