At the Central Campaign Committee meeting held at the Yeouido party headquarters that morning, Chairman Lee said, "A political force without experience, capability, or philosophy cannot suddenly achieve peace and security."
He emphasized, "Peace and security require deeper reflection and preparation. It is not something that can be learned overnight."
Chairman Lee stated, "Russia's invasion of Ukraine reminds us how precious and fragile peace is," adding, "We must pursue peace while strengthening security, and strengthen security while pursuing peace."
He continued, "The political force with such philosophy and capability is the Democratic Party," and said, "Based on experience and capability, the Democratic Party will protect peace and strengthen security."
