Shinsegae Casa Unveils VR Showroom 'Casamia Grand Apart'
[Asia Economy Reporter Donghyun Choi] Shinsegae Group’s living and lifestyle company Shinsegae Casa announced on the 28th that it will introduce the VR showroom ‘Casamia Grand Apartment,’ which proposes various home styles through virtual reality (VR).
Following last year’s launch of the ‘VR 3D Interior Service’ and ‘Augmented Reality (AR) Service,’ Shinsegae Casa has completed all core virtual and augmented reality-based experiential digital services this year by opening the VR showroom. The strategy is to diversify customer touchpoints online in line with the non-face-to-face era.
The VR showroom presents various home style concepts that could not be shown in offline stores due to physical space limitations through a three-dimensional virtual space. It is realized at a photo-realistic level with high-definition 3D rendering and provides a 360-degree panoramic view to enhance the immersion of the experience.
Additionally, it features enhanced customer convenience by linking Shinsegae Casa’s digital platform Good.com, allowing customers to check detailed product information and make purchases directly from the showroom they are currently viewing.
This VR showroom operates under the concept of ‘Casamia Grand Apartment,’ with nine virtual spaces arranged by floor to reflect diverse tastes and lifestyles. Through various showrooms, it offers an experience as if being in an actual space by showing spaces from dramas featuring Casamia furniture and virtual arrangements of Casamia furniture in real apartment living rooms, kitchens, and bedrooms.
The actual apartments applied are ‘Songpa Signature Lotte Castle,’ which has recently started move-in, and ‘Nowon Lotte Castle Signature,’ scheduled for move-in next year, presenting realistic furniture interiors to customers preparing for new move-ins and remodeling. The showroom is designed to reflect the latest trends, showcasing interiors of multi-functional homes called ‘Layered Home’ and the distinctively styled ‘MZ Generation (Millennials + Generation Z) Newlyweds’ to allow customers to experience Casamia more interestingly.
The VR showroom will continuously add new concept virtual spaces and can be experienced on the Good.com website and application.
