Gwangju Dong-gu 'AI-Based Basic Academic Skills Project' Conducted by Region
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Cho Hyung-joo] Dong-gu, Gwangju announced on the 27th that it will conduct the 'AI-Based Basic Academic Skills Project' for lower-grade elementary school students in Dream Start households within the district at 10 locations, including Village Sarangchae and small libraries, by region.
As part of this year's Dream Start policy project, Dong-gu is promoting the 'AI-Based Basic Academic Skills Project' and plans to actively utilize AI to ensure basic academic skills and reduce educational disparities due to the prolonged remote classes caused by COVID-19.
Dong-gu recently conducted parent consultations based on diagnostic results and selected candidates for 1:1 customized learning guidance with AI. From March until the end of the year, it will conduct 'AI Learning Guidance' and a six-month 'Korean Language Guidance' course by region.
To promote AI education, smart devices such as tablet PCs will be actively used to provide ▲subject-specific personalized AI learning ▲curated must-read books linked to the curriculum necessary during elementary school ▲study habit improvement through coaching by professional teachers, with classes held once or twice a week for 60 minutes each.
