Zelensky: "Russia lied about not attacking civilians... Signs of mass massacre"
[Asia Economy Reporter Seongpil Cho] Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky criticized Russia by mentioning "genocide."
On the 27th (local time), President Zelensky stated in a 3-minute and 20-second national address released on social media, "Russia is walking the path of evil." He said, "There are signs of genocide in Russia's criminal acts against Ukraine," and added, "I discussed this issue with the UN Secretary-General." He also urged, "The world must strip Russia of its UN Security Council voting rights."
President Zelensky pointed out that Russia attacked civilian facilities in Ukraine from the night before until early morning on the day, condemning, "Their true nature has been revealed." He emphasized, "Russia will bomb more Ukrainian cities and mercilessly kill more children," and stated, "They are evil that came to our land and must be destroyed."
He further criticized, "Russia lied about not targeting civilians," and said, "They have adopted a tactic of deliberately destroying everything that makes daily life possible, such as power plants, hospitals, kindergartens, and residential areas." He added, "The acts committed by the invaders in Kharkiv, Okhtyrka, Kyiv, Odesa, and other cities and towns will be subject to international trials," and "We will clearly document all of Russia's crimes."
