Lee Jae-myung on North Korea's missile launch: "Unacceptable... Stop reckless actions"

[Asia Economy Reporter Seoyoung Kwon] Lee Jae-myung, the presidential candidate of the Democratic Party of Korea, targeted North Korea's ballistic missile launch, stating, "We demand an end to reckless provocations."
On the 27th, Lee posted on his Facebook under the title "Stern Condemnation of North Korea's Missile Launch." He said, "North Korea launched another missile today. We strongly condemn North Korea's provocation," adding, "North Korea's military provocations are unacceptable acts of tension escalation. They must clearly understand that nothing can be gained from military provocations and that the consequences will return to themselves, so they must stop the provocations."
Lee emphasized, "Our people are great and wise. They will not be shaken by North Korea's provocations," and stated, "South Korea is the world's 6th largest military power and the 10th largest economy," and "We possess powerful military and economic strength to confidently confront any provocation from North Korea." He continued, "(South Korea) has an alliance with the world's strongest power, the United States," and added, "On the solid foundation of the strong ROK-US alliance, we will build a country that no one can challenge through robust self-reliant defense."

Furthermore, Lee said, "North Korea must stop reckless provocations that escalate tensions," and "I also urge the military authorities to maintain an ironclad security posture without any negligence." He concluded, "The Lee Jae-myung administration will protect national safety and the lives of the people with a firm security posture and strong defense capabilities," and "While pursuing the resolution of the North Korean nuclear issue through dialogue and peace and prosperity on the Korean Peninsula, we clearly state once again that North Korea's provocations will never be tolerated under any circumstances."
