Vivozon Healthcare Signs Export Contract for COVID-19 Diagnostic Kits for Qatar World Cup
[Asia Economy Reporter Lee Chun-hee] Vibozone Healthcare will supply COVID-19 diagnostic kits and quarantine supplies for the 2022 Qatar World Cup.
Vibozone Healthcare announced on the 25th that it has signed a supply contract with the local company MHKOT Contracting and Trading for the export of COVID-19 diagnostic kits and quarantine supplies such as KF94 masks to the Qatar World Cup and designated hospitals. The contract is worth a total of 5 million USD (approximately 6 billion KRW), which is about 13.8% of Vibozone Healthcare's consolidated sales in 2020.
The diagnostic kits to be exported by Vibozone Healthcare are domestic COVID-19 specimen transport media approved as Class 1 by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA). The exported kits and other supplies will be ultimately supplied to the Qatar World Cup and designated hospitals through MHKOT Contracting and Trading and will be used for World Cup operations.

A Vibozone Healthcare official said, "We have confirmed business opportunities in the 2022 Qatar World Cup and the Middle East region and have gained the opportunity to export diagnostic kits and quarantine supplies within Qatar," adding, "We plan to expand our business scope in the Middle East region and increase sales efforts for new business ventures such as beauty products in addition to diagnostic kits."
