Russian Media: "Ukrainian Forces Shell Russian Donetsk"
[Asia Economy Reporter Kim Hyunjung] Ukrainian security forces reportedly shelled Donetsk in eastern Ukraine, according to Russia's state-run RIA-Novosti on the 24th (local time).
RIA-Novosti cited a report from the Donetsk People's Republic delegation within the "Joint Center for Control and Coordination (JCCC)" on ceasefire and frontline stabilization issues, stating that Ukrainian security forces shelled the Donetsk region in eastern Ukraine.
According to the report, the shelling occurred at 2:40 a.m. that day near the Trudovskaya mine on the outskirts of Donetsk, with 10 rounds of 120mm mortars, a heavy weapon banned under the Minsk agreements, being fired.

Russia's state broadcaster also reported that "a large fire broke out in the area controlled by separatists in eastern Ukraine." CNN stated that it could not immediately verify the accuracy of this report.
