At the same time, he explained, "Uncertainties affecting the domestic economy must be minimized," adding, "There will also be impacts on the domestic financial and capital markets as well as the energy and resource sectors."
He expressed concern, saying, "This situation is worrisome as it could lead to a new Cold War era beyond a regional conflict," and emphasized, "Therefore, peace on the Korean Peninsula is even more important."
He then targeted Yoon Seok-youl, the candidate of the People Power Party, stating, "Politicizing security issues such as THAAD deployment and preemptive strikes is inviting crisis upon oneself."
Candidate Lee said, "There is a high possibility that complex crises like the current one will occur in the future. Thorough preparation is necessary," and stressed, "Therefore, the next president needs to be a capable leader who can resolve such crises. A government that turns global crises into opportunities is urgently needed."

He also added, "Measures to secure supplies in advance are necessary," and "Responses anticipating the rise in grain prices are also requested."
