Gyeongbuk Gyeongsan-si Supports Installation of Residential Low-NOx Boilers... 100,000 KRW for General, 600,000 KRW for Low-Income Households
[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters Reporter Yeo Jong-gu] Gyeongsan City, Gyeongbuk Province, provides subsidies to households that install (new or replace) eco-friendly low-NOx boilers for residential use.
The low-NOx boiler installation support project aims to reduce nitrogen oxide emissions, which are air pollutants emitted from existing boilers, and improve energy efficiency to help save heating costs.
This year, the support target is a total of 1,650 units, with 1,600 units allocated for general households and 50 units for low-income households.
If the number of applications from low-income households exceeds 50 units, the allocation for general households can be converted to low-income households.
Selected applicants will receive a subsidy of 100,000 KRW for general households and 600,000 KRW for low-income households.
Applications will be accepted starting from the 2nd of next month, and application documents can be submitted by mail or through boiler sales companies acting as agents.
