[Asia Economy Yeongnam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Ju Cheol-in] Gimhae City, Gyeongnam Province, will support the purchase of school uniforms for new middle and high school students and first-year transfer students to reduce the financial burden on parents for education expenses.
On the 21st, Gimhae City announced that it will provide 300,000 KRW per student for 11,643 students, including new students.
Students who are registered residents (including foreign registration) in Gimhae City and are new middle or high school students or first-year transfer students this year are eligible to receive the school uniform purchase support.
Even if the student enrolls in middle or high schools in other regions or unlicensed alternative schools, they are eligible for support as long as they have an address in Gimhae City.
