[Asia Economy Reporter Lim Chun-han] Passengers experienced temporary inconvenience as train operations were partially delayed due to a train malfunction at Seoul Station on Seoul Subway Line 1.
According to Seoul Metro on the 19th, a train malfunction occurred at Seoul Station on Line 1 around 5:43 PM, causing delays in the northbound service toward Soyosan.
Seoul Metro evacuated passengers from the malfunctioning train, coupled it with another train, and removed the faulty train from the platform. Train operations returned to normal around 6:47 PM.
