Pulmuone Launches Rich Flavor 'Roasting Jjajangmyeon Truffle Oil'
[Asia Economy Reporter Song Seung-yoon] Pulmuone Foods announced on the 18th that it has launched a premium new product, "Truffle Oil," of its "Roasting Jjajangmyeon," which realizes the deep and rich taste unique to jjajang through triple roasting.
Pulmuone's "Roasting Jjajangmyeon" is a dry noodle jjajang ramen that enhances the rich taste of jjajang through the "triple roasting method" and features "flavored oil" as its main concept. Triple roasting is a method that first stir-fries raw ingredients such as pork, onion, and green onion, then separately stir-fries the chunjang (fermented black bean paste), and finally combines and stir-fries them again to bring out the rich flavor of jjajang.
The flavored oils are offered in two distinctive types: "green onion oil" and "chili oil," expanding consumers' choices. Additionally, the inclusion of white truffle oil adds a touch of luxury. The new product "Roasting Jjajangmyeon Truffle Oil" is sold in packs of four for 5,980 won.
Park Hee-joo, Room Temperature Noodle Product Manager (PM) at Pulmuone Foods, said, "The 'Roasting Jjajangmyeon' introduced last year has received much love from consumers as a new jjajang ramen," adding, "The new product 'Roasting Jjajangmyeon Truffle Oil' is a product with added addictiveness and luxury, offering a new enjoyment."
