Krafton Conducts Battlegrounds 16.1 Update
[Asia Economy Reporter Seungjin Lee] Krafton announced on the 17th that it has updated the 16.1 live server for PUBG: Battlegrounds (hereinafter Battlegrounds).
In this update, overall balance adjustments were made to some firearms so that players can use a wider variety of weapons tactically.
Additionally, a new rotation has been applied to the maps for a smoother player experience. The casual mode includes ▲Erangel ▲Miramar ▲Sanhok ▲Karakin ▲Taego. The competitive mode includes ▲Erangel ▲Miramar ▲Taego. Among these, the competitive Taego map received new changes such as adding fixed spawn locations for Porter vehicles.
Other updates include ▲color adjustment of the Miramar minimap ▲separation of the ‘Recent Players’ tab in the friend list ▲display of kill and down information in the match report summary tab ▲improvements to in-game loading speed and stability. Bugs fixed include ▲the drone icon direction being reversed on the minimap and world map ▲the ability to carry multiple downed teammates ▲Taego map-related bugs ▲clipping bugs.

With the start of Competitive Season 16, rewards from Season 15 are also granted. The reward list varies depending on the final season rank, including emblems and nameplates, and players who achieved Gold tier or higher will receive the permanent item ‘Competitive Parachute Skin.’ Other rewards can only be owned during the next competitive season and will be automatically reclaimed when the season ends and server maintenance begins.
