Jung Dong-hyun (High1) achieved a meaningful result in the men's slalom alpine skiing at the 2022 Beijing Winter Olympics. He matched the highest ranking by a Korean athlete set by Heo Seung-wook at the 1994 Lillehammer Winter Olympics.

On the 16th, Jung Dong-hyun recorded a combined time of 1 minute 47.69 seconds (56.85 seconds in the first run and 50.84 seconds in the second run) in the men's slalom alpine skiing event held at the National Alpine Ski Center in Yanqing, northern Beijing, China. He placed 21st out of 88 competitors. Although he failed to reach his goal of entering the top 15, he surpassed his previous best Olympic ranking (27th at the 2018 Pyeongchang Winter Olympics). The 21st place is also the highest ranking among Asian athletes in this competition.
