Gwangyang Economic Authority Supports Participation in Gwangyang Bay Area Tenant Companies Expo
Expanding Domestic and International Market Development and Export Marketing Opportunities
[Asia Economy Honam Reporting Headquarters, Reporter Heo Seon-sik] The Gwangyang Bay Area Free Economic Zone Authority (Director Song Sang-rak, hereinafter Gwangyang Economic Authority) announced that it plans to support companies participating in various exhibitions this year by covering participation fees and other expenses to help companies located in the Gwangyang Bay Area expand their domestic and international market channels and export marketing opportunities.
The exhibition participation support project provides support once a year for companies located in the Gwangyang Bay Area, covering up to 2 million KRW per company for booth rental fees, installation costs, and promotional expenses, and payments are made on a first-come, first-served basis until the budget is exhausted.
However, companies that receive participation fee support from other institutions for the same exhibition are excluded from eligibility. The program runs for 10 months from February 14 to December 15.
A representative from the Gwangyang Economic Authority stated, “Due to COVID-19, many corporate exhibitions have been canceled, reducing promotional opportunities for companies and making management difficult, which has also dampened their enthusiasm for promotion. We hope this support project will help companies located in the Gwangyang Bay Area promote their products and develop new market channels.”
